The Tenth Anniversary Celebration of the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention, 20-21 November 2007, Rome, Italy
The Government of Italy and the OECD Working Group on Bribery will host an international celebration of the tenth anniversary of the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention. This event will raise awareness about the important progress and changes over the last decade and countries' commitment to continued joint action to combat bribery of foreign public officials in international business transactions.

The Second Annual Conference and General Meeting
The International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities, 21- 24 November 2007, Bali, Indonesia
For this Congress, eight thematic areas will be approached,
named:
1. Information society and e-government
2. Ethics and transparency in public management
3. Academic networks: formation and training for the
professionalization of civil service
4. Professionalization of senior officers of the public
administration
5. State and democracy
6. Local development
7. Innovations in the management of public policies
8. Construction of a "result oriented management"

The Third Good Governance for Development (GfD) in Arab Countries, Steering Group Meeting at Ministerial Level, 29 November 2007, Cairo, Egypt
The meeting will be of strategic importance for designing
the main features of the GfD Initiative 2008-2010 to support
public sector and judiciary modernization in the region.
It will provide a forum for ministers from Arab countries
to present progress in their national reform agendas. Ministers
from Arab and OECD countries will review the Initiative’s
achievements and will be invited to adopt the Initiative’s
programme of work for 2008-2010.

Health Governance Conference, 10-11 December 2007, South Bank, Brisbane
The conference aims to contribute to debates, policies
and practices on the following: 1) current regulatory issues
in Australia; 2) interprofessional boundaries and common
concerns; 3) performance versus credentials-based accreditation;
4) systemic versus individual responsibility; 5) international
supply and demand of professionals and regulation; and 6)
public expectations and implications.

Seminar on : 'Building Incorrupt Culture at Schools', 10-13 December 2007, Guangzhou, China
This seminar is organised in collaboration with the Government of china to: 1) Develop awareness of the magnitude in education.
2) Train participants in the design and implementation of various diagnostic tools aimed at assessing distorted practices in the use of education resources.
3) Train participants on how to design and implement strategies to improve transparency and accountability in education.

Anti-Corruption Coordination will discuss asset recovery, encouragement
and protection of whistle-blowers, as well as combating corruption
